Dinner in 30...with 5 min work- Mexican Inspired Turkey Burgers

Ever have those nights where frozen pizza just won't cut it, but you are so bone weary and tired you don't want to feed the masses?

Warning: this last night was one of those nights. Dinner was NOT fancy!

Our local SAMs club sells Ballpark brand turkey burgers that are already cooked. I proudly admit I keep such things in my freezer for nights such as those.

This isn't a recipe so much as a way to cheat in the kitchen.

Spread the frozen turkey patties on a cookie sheet. While still frozen, put a spoonful of refried beans on each burger. Then follow with as much salsa as you like. Top with a sprinkle of pre shredded Mexican blend cheese. Follow box directions to cook the burgers. Mine were 20 min at 350F.

That takes less than 5 min.

Patties in the oven...

Pop those in the oven. Throw some frozen veggies in the microwave. I season mine with butter, salt, and pepper. Peel off some iceburg lettuce leaves for "pretty" and crunch. Grab a bag of onion buns.

Take them out when the time dings 20 min later and serve...dinner in less than 30 min with 5 min work!
