I think that wading through the waters of infertility or loss doesn't make us better mothers, just different. We view our children differently, a view that is tinted by what we have experienced.
Today, I got to take a simple bike ride with my children. There have been multiple incidences in my life that make me really cherish the simple act of bike rides with my children as a gift.
Stop doing the dishes some afternoon, and join your children as they ride around the block... Find some simple joy for your whole family.
